When is the October Art Walk?
The October Art Walk takes place Friday, October 16, 2026 from 5:00–8:00 PM throughout downtown Biddeford.
Is the Art Walk rain or shine?
Yes! The October Art Walk is rain or shine. Many experiences happen indoors, so there’s still plenty to explore no matter the weather.
OCTOBER ART WALK RAIN PLAN
The Biddeford Public Market will be set up inside the lobby of Pepperell Center (40 Main St | Bldg 13) to sell their goods and produce, instead of at their regular Art Walk location.
But, Art of Biddeford (AOB) has secured additional indoor and covered locations for other vendors and artists in case of rain.
We still encourage artists and vendors to set up outdoors if conditions allow, particularly in light drizzle or if your work can withstand the weather. If you need an indoor or covered alternative, the following locations are available:
📍Sacred Profane: Outdoor covered market with three giant umbrellas. Vendors must bring their own tables. Maximum 15 vendors, 50 Washington St.
📍Heart of Biddeford, 205 Main St.
📍Rift Arcade, 5 Washington St.
📍Lucky Pigeon, 40 Main St. Ste. 13-136
📍Stem & Vine, 5 Alfred St. #101
PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited at each location and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each host location will have instructions posted at the entrance explaining how to claim a spot. Please follow the posted instructions. Once all spaces are claimed, that location is full.
Thank you for your flexibility and for helping us make tonight’s final Art Walk of the season a success, rain or shine!
What are the official event hours?
Sidewalk vendors will be open from 5:00–8:00 PM. Indoor stops, galleries, businesses, exhibits, and activities may have varying hours depending on the location, so you may find some spots open earlier or later.
Where should I park?
Downtown has several public parking options available. You can also find bike rack locations if you’re cycling in.

This month at Art Walk, we’re making space for the Giving Tree Society, a UNE club working to build a stronger culture of service, compassion and active citizenship in our community.
The Giving Tree Society connects people with opportunities to give back and works with UNE clubs, organizations and community partners to address social challenges and support social justice initiatives. For October’s Art Walk, they’ll be collecting school supplies to support students and schools in our community.
We’re happy to support them at Art Walk, connect them with the Biddeford community and help them collect the supplies they need. In return, they’ll be handing out handmade thank-you cards to everyone who contributes night-of.
If you’re coming to Art Walk, consider bringing along some school supplies and support the work they’re doing.
Supplies Needed include:
