When is the June Art Walk?
The June Art Walk takes place Friday, June 19, 2026 from 5:00–8:00 PM throughout downtown Biddeford.

Is the Art Walk rain or shine?
Yes! The June Art Walk is rain or shine. Many experiences happen indoors, so there’s still plenty to explore no matter the weather.

What are the official event hours?
Sidewalk vendors will be open from 5:00–8:00 PM. Indoor stops, galleries, businesses, exhibits, and activities may have varying hours depending on the location, so you may find some spots open earlier or later.

Where should I park?
Downtown has several public parking options available. You can also find bike rack locations if you’re cycling in.

Where can I grab dinner or drinks?
Make a night of it! Downtown Biddeford has great options for dinner, drinks, dessert, and quick bites before or during Art Walk.

Cheryl Lichwell Sculpture

Step into the Pepperell Mill studio of Cheryl Lichwell and encounter a world of expressive, figurative sculpture shaped in clay. Visitors can experience both in-progress and finished works that blend the human and animal form in a deeply introspective, storytelling-driven practice.

Find the studio at 2 Main Street, inside Building 17, Suite 228.

Sarah Leuchtner Studio

Visit artist Sarah Leuchtner’s studio in the Pepperell Mill during Art Walk and explore recent works created during her self-directed residency in Maine. Visitors are invited to stop in, view the studio, meet the artist, and enjoy light refreshments.

Decentralized Gallery at Portland Pie Co.

The Decentralized Gallery is a creative collaboration between Common Roots Studio and local businesses, bringing artwork out of traditional gallery spaces and into everyday places around downtown. During the Art Walk, stop by Portland Pie Co. to experience the current featured artist.

Belfire Hot Glass & Gallery

Experience the beauty of glass art at Belfire Hot Glass & Gallery, featuring the work of artists Amy Kelly and Jennifer Pope. Explore a collection of handcrafted glass pieces and meet the artists behind the work.

Suger at the Mill

Celebrate Art Walk at SUGER with featured artist Caroline Elizabeth Savage. While you’re there, explore a treasure trove of Maine-made goods, vintage thrift finds, cold beverages, and unexpected delights. Don’t miss a preview of the Tiny Design Museum, coming to the mill campus this summer.

Blackbare Media Studios

Join Blackbare Media Studios as they open the doors to their new creative space in downtown Biddeford at 40 Laconia Street (look for the yellow door)! Meet the team, tour the studio, and learn how they’re using visual storytelling to amplify voices, preserve experiences, and build community through media.

City Hall Gallery Exhibition

Biddeford City Hall hosts a group exhibition featuring works by Eileen Foley, Linda Sullivan, and Hannah Hirsch. Explore a diverse collection of artwork by three Maine artists whose unique perspectives and creative approaches offer something for every visitor.

This month’s Art Gallery at Elements is by Maine-based multimedia artist Robyn Towle. Swing by between 4-6pm to purchase their work during Art Walk!

Kids Corner: Chalk Art, Face Painting, Balloon Art and more!

The Kids Corner at Art Walk is a hands-on hub of creativity and play, featuring chalk art, face painting, balloon art, and interactive workshops hosted in collaboration with BiddoBahn, Mill Studio Arts, Rift Arcade, and Apex Youth Connection. It’s a lively, family-friendly stop where kids can make, move, and imagine right alongside the Art Walk festivities.

Look for Kids Corner popping up on both sides of upper Main Street, between BiddoBahn and Rift Arcade.

Luci's Lather Lab

Discover the art of soapmaking at Luci’s Lather Lab, a local maker creating small-batch, science-inspired soaps and body products with clean ingredients and creative flair. It’s the perfect Art Walk stop if you love handmade goods with a personal touch. Find the lab inside the Counting House (90 Saco Falls Way) in Suite #B3.

Photo Walk with Josh Johnson

The Third Friday Photo Walk with Josh Johnson is a free, low-pressure creative photo walk during Biddeford Art Walk. Each month, Josh offers a simple photography prompt, then leads participants on a short walk through downtown Biddeford to slow down, notice more, and make images with intention.

All experience levels are welcome, from professional photographers to phone shooters and curious beginners. After the walk, participants are invited to return to the studio, share what they noticed, and connect with other creative locals.
