Heart of Biddeford, Art of Biddeford and the University of New England’s Shaw Innovation Fellowship are teaming up to host Science Collider: The Story of the Saco, a community event celebrating the science, story, and spirit of the Saco River through creativity and collaboration. The Science Collider is part community storytelling night, part science showcase, and part art celebration. This night will hopefully be a space where data meets poetry, research meets songs, and every perspective helps to tell The Story of the Saco.
We’re looking for artists, storytellers, performers, and researchers to share work inspired by the river!
Selected presenters will receive a $100 gift card to a downtown business of their choice, and selected artists will receive space to show and sell their work!
All participants must be present on December 3.
Deadline to apply: November 14.
Together, we’ll explore how science and story intersect to reveal the living, breathing story of the Saco River and our connection to it.
