46 Million Turkeys is a community-driven project with the goal of visually representing the estimated 46 million turkeys consumed in the U.S. on Thanksgiving Day. The project invites people of all ages, artistic skill levels, and perspectives to contribute a turkey portrait. To date, thousands of individuals have participated with each of the one-of-a-kind representations of a turkey as unique as the person who created it.

Join artist Elizabeth Felt, aka The Holy Fool, for a workshop in conjunction with the upcoming release of the third issue of Apocrypha Quarterly, a zine/lit magazine/serialized anthology that features stories, poetry, art, and more, focusing on folklore, mythologies, and tales of the strange, obscure, and uncertain. Using the concepts of transformative arts, participants will come up with an idea for a new zine and complete writing prompts to create stories that will make up the body of the group’s zine concept. Participants will then be guided in editing their work to a state of cohesion with one another that can be finalized as the finished product.
